Flip MinoHD video gets WiFi connectivity

Nowadays there are number of gadgets (e.g iPhone 3GS has increased 400% of YouTube uploads since its launch) out there that allow you to shoot videos or pictures and directly upload them to online content sharing sites such as YouTube or Flickr. Of course these devices must have built-in wireless connectivity in order to let the users to do shoot and upload on the run.

Cisco has responded by promising the next generation of its Flip video, the Flip MinoHD to come with built-in WiFi connectivity which allows the users to take videos and then directly upload videos to YouTube. Of course with built-in WiFi only allows users manage to get hooked onto WiFi network to upload videos. But this is a lot easier than doing it on the previous models.

Perhaps Cisco should think of equipping the future models with 3G or WiMax to provide more options of connectivity. Besides WiFi support, other feature that the Flip MinoHD will get is a larger screen that will slide open to reveal menu buttons.
